What child abduction? (Revisited)

January 20, 2010

What child abduction

What child abduction?

This is a favourite subject of mine. As a young child, I had problems, but still a bright child who was always asking “Why?” It was frustrating when an adult responded with “Because”. It was not an answer, but a non-answer. Evasive. That is why I like the photo above so much. When Gerry McCann is asked the question, he responds with “Because”. There is so much evasiveness with the McCanns.

The position offered by the McCanns, initially, was break-in + disappearance = abductor. Eventually, Clarence Mitchell confessed that there was no evidence of a break-in. Clarrie’s retreat is very significant, it is as big as removing one of the elements of Earth, Wind and Fire. Suddenly, he was then claiming disappearance = abduction. But, all those references in the media remain where family and friends put out the McCanns propaganda of the fake break-in.

Why did the McCanns fake a break-in?

Almost as important, why have their friends and family still stuck by them when they have been used so badly, let down, and very seriously lied to? Why have they not been speaking to the media about questioning the McCanns why they were lied to? They were quite happy to gob off before when spinning the McCanns web of deceit.

Kate McCann killed Madeleine

September 2, 2008

Kate McCann killed Madeleine on the evening of 3 May 2007 whilst Gerry McCann was out of Apartment 5A playing tennis. She phoned Gerry McCann to inform him she needed him to come back to the apartment, however, she did not clarify her reason for needing his help. Rather than immediately return to the apartment to see what his wife wanted him for, instead Gerry McCann asked David Payne to look in on Kate McCann to check if she was alright. When David Payne arrived at Apartment 5A, for obvious reason Kate McCann would not let him in but informed him it was Gerry McCann whom she wanted. David Payne returned to the tennis court and informed Gerry McCann that Kate McCann did not want outside help from him but instead needed Gerry McCann to return to the apartment.

The McCanns had agreed that Kate would bath the children whilst Gerry went off to play tennis, and then they would take the children to the playground area. Whilst Gerry was still under the impression that the children to the playground area was part of the plan for the evening, this had to change because of the death of Madeleine and the McCanns made the excuse that the children were tired to explain the change of plan.

It was the start of the cover up.

UPDATE: In case this post disappears it has been reposted here and an explanation about a warning.

The case against the McCanns is compelling

August 20, 2008

I will write this slowly for those who have difficulty grasping the facts.

1. Madeleine is missing.

2. Kate and Gerry McCann offer their explanation for Madeleine’s disappearance, an abductor must be responsible. They point to what they claim is a break-in to support their proposition.

3. The McCanns were in no position to advance an explanation. They were out of sight and sound of the apartment, eating and drinking with their friends at the Tapas bar. They had left, at least, the 2 year old twins Home Alone. They claimed all 3 children were asleep in the apartment when they went out for the evening. They claimed that they thought it was safe to leave 3 children under 4 years of age Home Alone.

4. There was no break-in. The McCanns change their story, they admit to leaving the apartment unlocked. Why did they claim that there had been a break-in? It has to be a cover story to conceal an event. Madeleine’s disappearance. The last people to see Madeleine alive were Kate and Gerry McCann. They claim to have answered all questions. This is a lie. They claim to have fully co-operated with the police. This is a lie. Their claim that they thought it was safe is a lie.

5. Justice for Madeleine requires a fair hearing, let us hear the truth, the whole truth, and nothing less than the truth.

6. The case against the McCanns is compelling.

McCanns to blame for fake sightings

August 12, 2008

Maddie McCann was seen for the last time by someone not of her family at 17.00 on that day“. This was the last confirmed sighting of Madeleine alive.

The first two fake sightings following this genuine sighting are by Kate and Gerry McCann:

Kate said that she had left the girl covered. Gerry, the father, maintains that the girl was sleeping on top of the blankets clutching her favourite soft toy“.

Nige at mccannfiles is running another poll and asks this question: “Do you believe press and media coverage of ‘Maddie sightings’ has got out of hand?”. And, in response to the following question: “Yes, the media are insulting Madeleine’s name and memory with constant ridicolous ‘sightings’ (I believe she is dead) has so far polled 72% of the vote.

UPDATE: Belgian Madeleine sighting ruled out.

Reconstruction ‘casts doubt on Madeleine McCann kidnapping’

August 8, 2008

By David Brown.

A significant study into the disappearance of Madeleine McCann has indicated that kidnapping would be inconsistent with the evidence.

Paulo Sargento, a criminal psychologist at Lusófona University in Libson, has produced a 3D reconstruction of events at the Ocean Club on the evening Madeleine disappeared.

He used minute-by-minute breakdowns of events published in The Times, the respected Portuguese newspapers Público and Sol and the BBC to test all hypotheses put forward by the Portuguese authorities.

Dr Sargento cross-checked times and events from the moment that Kate and Gerry McCann went to pick up their children from the resort’s kindergarten at 4pm, until 10pm, when Mrs McCann reported that Madeleine was missing from their apartment.

He found that from the moment when the McCanns arrived at the tapas restaurant at 8pm, seven people in their party got up a total of 14 times in two hours.

Dr Sargento told SIC television: “There were people passing almost every five minutes. The question is how, in that time, could it be possible with so many people coming and going that no one saw someone coming in through the window without being seen? We have concluded this theory is very inconsistent.”

It is understood that the recreation will be made available to the Polícia Judiciária to assist them in creating a definitive timeline of events on the Ocean Club.

Why Madeleine is dead

August 6, 2008

Madeleine Beth McCann died or was killed in Apartment 5A between 6 and 8.30pm on  3 May 2007. Madeleine was definitely dead before Kate and Gerry McCann left the apartment and arrived at the Tapas bar at 8.40pm. Whilst the McCanns have stated that an abductor must have taken Madeleine in between one of the checks, this is obviously false. Because, it is obvious that the McCanns had to fit in the so-called abductor in between one of the checks to give the story any kind of plausibility. Having to squeeze the so-called abductor into a tight time frame, a window of opportunity, has given the McCanns a logistical problem.

According to the McCanns, at 9.30pm Matthew Oldfield supposedly offers to check on Madeleine and the twins. However, there is something wrong about this account. Matthew Oldfield states that he did not see Madeleine. What good is a check to see if everything is alright which fails to check on Madeleine? He would be failing in his duty towards the McCanns if the scenario was genuine. Why didn’t he see Madeleine? Obviously, she wasn’t asleep in her bed. There are two factors here. One is that Matthew Oldfield was not prepared to state he saw Madeleine. It would mean he was the last person to see Madeleine alive, and make him a prime suspect when the police arrived, and mean he would be accused of perverting the course of justice if discovered to be lying. The second factor is that if he claimed he saw Madeleine, then it would cast doubt upon Jane Tanner’s alleged sighting of the abductor at 9.15pm.

It was difficult enough for the McCanns to introduce an abductor into the plot. To give this version of events any credibility whatsoever, it was better to have someone within the group “see” the abductor. This could not have been done by someone outside of the group as it would have compromised their security if the witness cracked under police questioning. Therefore Jane Tanner drew the short straw, and claimed to have seen the abductor at 9.15pm. This means that Madeleine was missing before 9.30pm. It also means that Madeleine was missing before 9.15pm. Gerry McCann claims to have seen Madeleine asleep at 9.05pm. If he is to be believed, this means that an abductor only had 10 minutes between 9.05 and 9.15pm to kidnap Madeleine.

What spoils this plan for the McCanns is the unexpected arrival upon the scene of Jeremy Wilkins. So, the abductor sees Gerry McCann, Jeremy Wilkins and Jane Tanner in the street and decides to just pop into Apartment 5A and abduct Madeleine? One of the McCanns favourite words of scorn is ludicrous, which is what we are expected to believe. It was a shock for Gerry McCann to leave the apartment and unexpectedly to bump into Jeremy Wilkins. It would not have been sociable had Gerry McCann just ignored Jeremy Wilkins therefore he had to stop and talk to him for a few minutes. In reality, Gerry McCann did not see Madeleine asleep in her bed at 9.05pm, this was because she was already dead by 8.30pm.

It is unlikely Madeleine died as a result of an overdose or overreaction to a sedative. This is because she would have been in bed appearing to be asleep, and the McCanns would not have noticed until later that night or the next morning. It is more likely that Madeleine was killed between 6 and 8pm. And, that the meeting in the Tapas bar was hastily arranged.

McCanns responsible for Madeleine’s disappearance

August 5, 2008

According to the Telegraph: “The pictures could have played a vital part in helping to eliminate suspects or stop any abductor from fleeing the country with Madeleine“.

The pictures may well have played a vital part in the investigation in that the PJ eliminated them from the inquiry. What are these people in these photofits suspected of doing? The Telegraph fails to enlighten us. I am somewhat puzzled by the Telegraph referring to a so-called abductor fleeing the country with Madeleine? First, it has to be established that there was an abduction. It has never been established that Madeleine was abducted. This was a version of events as given by  Kate and Gerry McCann. Like Jane Tanner’s alleged sighting of an abductor, both versions have no credibility.

The photo below of the two suspects in the disappearance of Madeleine did play a vital part.

It is time that the British media focused upon the McCanns and stopped wasting time and trying to insult our intelligence by giving more relevance to sketches of innocent people. It was not the PJ nor the Portuguese who are responsible for Madeleine’s disappearance. Kate and Gerry McCann are.

Police files reveal McCanns and Tanner’s lies

August 5, 2008

According to the Telegraph “Kate and Gerry gain hope from Portuguese police inquiry files“. This is clearly Clarence Mitchell spin. The idea being that the McCanns hoped to gain leads from the files to help find Madeleine. In truth, the McCanns wished to see the files to discover the extent of the police evidence against them. As they had hoped, it amounted to very little. Some will say, no evidence therefore the McCanns must be innocent. However, from the outset, the McCanns have ensured that very little evidence is put together to build a case against them.

The PJ were suspicious of this photo of Madeleine’s bed. The PJ did not believe it had been slept in by Madeleine. I would have to agree with the PJ. It looks like the top sheet has been rolled back in readiness for Madeleine to go to bed. And, the most obvious reason why Madeleine did not go to sleep in the bed on 3 May 2007 was because she was already dead. Therefore, the McCanns lied about all 3 children being put to bed before they went out to the Tapas bar. It would also explain why Kate McCann failed to answer the BBC reporter’s question, during a TV interview, “Was Madeleine asleep when you went out?”.

Notice also in the photo where Cuddle Cat is. According to the McCanns, they knew an abductor had been in the apartment because Cuddle Cat had been placed on a shelf which was too high for Madeleine to reach. This was obviously another lie made up by the McCanns to push forward their abduction theory.

According to Jane Tanner’s sketch at 3 is where Gerry McCann and Jeremy Wilkins were supposed to have been stood talking. And at 4 is where Jane Tanner claims to have been when she claims to have seen the abductor crossing her path. However, according to Gerry McCann, he claims to have crossed over the road to talk to Jeremy Wilkins, and that would have been level with at 4. Bearing in mind neither Gerry McCann nor Jeremy Wilkins saw Jane Tanner at all.

It has been recorded that Gerry McCann and Jeremy Wilkins became friendly at the resort. There is no record of Jane Tanner and Jeremy Wilkins having become friends. And yet, note how Jane Tanner has used the familiar “Jez”, the shortened form of Jeremy, to describe where she is supposed to have seen him talking to Gerry McCann. This would indicate that Gerry McCann in some way inappropriately put words into Jane Tanner’s mouth when she gave her evidence.

If Jane Tanner’s account was to be believed, she was on the same narrow footpath passing the two men talking, and Wilkins had a child in a buggy with him, and yet they failed to notice her? She failed to notice Jeremy Wilkins had the child in a buggy at the time. Given the narrowness of the footpath, either the two men would have had to make way to let her pass by, or she would have had to step on the road to pass by them. Jane Tanner fails to mention any of this. I find it unbelievable that she would walk past Gerry McCann without a greeting in passing.

A very plausible case against the McCanns

August 3, 2008

At approximately 10pm on 3 May 2007, at Praia da Luz on the Algarve in Portugal, Kate and Gerry McCann presented the world with a mystery, the disappearance of their 3 year old daughter Madeleine.

Today, Ned Tenko writing in the Observer and reviewing Gonçalo Amaral’s book Maddie: A Verdade da Mentira (The Truth About the Lies) states, after briefly putting Amaral’s main points, “This reviewer – as well as any objective person – would surely by now have ruled out any of these possibilities. The book does nothing to change one’s view that there is no plausible case against the McCanns”.

Whilst Ned Tenko’s review of Gonçalo Amaral’s book is quite good, his view that the McCanns are innocent of guilt in the disappearance of Madeleine is mistaken.

Kate and Gerry McCann claimed that between 8-8.30pm they had left their three children under 4 years of age unsupervised in their locked apartment, only to return at 10pm to discover Madeleine was missing. They claimed that an abductor must have broken into the apartment, whilst they were away, and kidnapped Madeleine.

Rather than state “that there is no plausible case against the McCanns”, the abductor theory is not plausible, which means that the last people to see Madeleine alive, after 6pm,  were Kate and Gerry McCann. Ned Tenko describes the McCanns as “an ordinary, middle-class family”. However, this couldn’t be further from the truth. The McCanns in my book are best described as an odd couple. There is quite a bit about them which is strange to say the least.

According to Kate and Gerry McCann, there was no mystery surrounding the disappearance of Madeleine, because it was obvious to them that she had been abducted. They were certain of this. The McCanns have yet to explain why it is that they were so certain as to the fate that had befallen Madeleine. Whilst other holiday makers, locals, and the police and Mark Warner staff were out searching for Madeleine, the McCanns stayed in the apartment. This was odd. Because, if the McCanns were innocent, and returned from a night out to find their daughter missing, they would not have a clue what had happened to her. However, the McCanns claimed to know just what had happened to Madeleine. All they needed to do was to convince the rest of the world to accept their version of events.

Initially, the McCanns claimed that their apartment was locked and that an abductor had broken into the apartment and damaged the shutters when they were jemmied open. The McCanns had phoned their family and friends to give their version of events and told them to spread the word. Newspapers, radio and television picked up these reports and broadcast them as though they were factual reports. However, there were no visible signs of a break in according to John Hill, the Mark Warner complex manager. There was no evidence, according to the police and PJ, of any break in. Much later, even Clarence Mitchell, the McCanns media spokesman, confirmed that there was no evidence of a break in. However, the McCanns personally have not yet made any public statement why they lied about a break in. It has to be said, it is plausible that the McCanns lied to cover up their own involvement in the disappearance of Madeleine.

It is plausible that at 10pm, before she raised the alarm, Kate McCann opened the apartment window. It had been cleaned the day before. Kate McCann was asked whether she had touched the window, and she claimed that she had not. However, only Kate McCann’s fingerprints showed up on the window during the PJ fingerprint testing. Once again, the McCanns have yet to provide an explanation to refute this evidence against them. Not only is there no evidence of a break in, there is evidence against the McCanns that they have lied twice in relation to the break in and setting the scene to look like someone broke in. It must be plausible that the McCanns are involved in the disappearance of Madeleine, and their attempts to blame someone else must be suspicious to say the least.

One of the most disturbing things about this whole case is the way that the McCanns keep changing their story of events. When the break in version starts to crumble, the McCanns then claim that they left the apartment unlocked. So, instead of an abductor breaking into the apartment, he simply walked in through the unlocked patio doors and supposedly climbed out of the window. Surely, it would have made more sense to walk out the same way? But, there needs to be an explanation for the opened window. It is plausible that the McCanns were desparate to keep hold of the abductor theory and adapting it later to fit the police findings. In my view, once the break in story was rejected the abductor story should also have been rejected. Then this leaves the McCanns with no explanation for the disappearance of Madeleine.

McCanns link in Barry George case

August 1, 2008

Lord John Stevenson, the former Commissioner of the Met Police, said that the McCanns would never be prosecuted in England – he’s right the powerful and influential rarely are, but the likes of George, a mental retard, who has few friends can be prosecuted on a lot less evidence”.

“Of course, the print media that fiercely denounces the Portuguese police investigating the death of Madeline McCann for daring to name the McCanns as prime suspects, never really gave two hoots about Barry George, or the many other miscarriages of justice in the UK – they don’t sell papers“.
