McCanns: No smoke without fire

Portuguese police ‘ignored Madeleine McCann leads’

Portuguese police have ignored hundreds of potential new leads in the Madeleine McCann case because of their belief that she is already dead, it has been claimed.

If we were not talking about the McCanns child neglect/abandonment, and the fake break-in staged by the McCanns, and the fictitious abduction created by the McCanns, then possibly somone other than the McCanns might just have been involved in Madeleine’s disappearance. If that was the case, then I would be criticising the Portuguese police for being bungling cops for not investigating potential leads and possible sightings.

However, all I see from this rehashing of old news is a fresh attempt by the McCanns to deploy a smokescreen as a distraction from the focus of attention examining the McCanns conduct in Madeleine’s disappearance.

A testing time for the McCanns and Clarence Mitchell

January 30, 2010

Clarence Mitchell: “There is a wholly innocent explanation for any material the police may or may not have found” (Joana Morais).

So, let’s put it to the test, shall we?

“Kate said the shutters of the room were smashed.”

(b) Brian Healy Grandfather:

“Gerry told me when they went back the shutters to the room were broken, they were jemmied up and she was gone,”

“There was no evidence of a break-in,” said Mr Mitchell (The McCanns’ spokesperson – Irish Independent, 25 October 2007).

Can the McCanns or their spokesman now please provide a wholly innocent explanation for claiming that there had been a break-in when on the facts there had not?

I’ve seen the light

January 26, 2010

I’ve seen the light

I’ve seen the light
I know why Gerry was so furtive that night
Busy setting the stage
For the disappearance of Madeleine, 3 years of age.
There was not a Tanner let alone an abductor in sight.

“They’ve taken her. Madeleine has gone” Kate cried
On 3 May 2007, the day that Madeleine died
The McCanns know what they both did
One killed Madeleine and the other her body hid
About the “break-in” they both lied.

The People’s new little Princess
The McCanns ask “How to get out of the mess?”
That’s simple, you both only have to confess!

Simon Armitage’s Madeleine McCann poem

Simon Armitage’s poem about Madeleine McCann, published in times2 and to be auctioned for the Find Madeleine campaign

The Beacon

Dusk, doubt, the growing depth of an evening sky,
dark setting in as it did that night,
the forever vastness of outer space
reflecting the emptiness here inside,
shadowing, colouring, clouding the mind.

But somewhere out there there has to be life,
the distance only a matter of time,
a world like our own, its markings and shades
as uniquely formed as a daughter’s eye,
distinctly flecked, undeniably hers,
looking back this way through the miles and years

to a lantern cupping a golden blaze,
its candle alive with a fierce blonde flame
for the thousandth time, for as long as it takes.

The case against the McCanns is compelling

August 20, 2008

I will write this slowly for those who have difficulty grasping the facts.

1. Madeleine is missing.

2. Kate and Gerry McCann offer their explanation for Madeleine’s disappearance, an abductor must be responsible. They point to what they claim is a break-in to support their proposition.

3. The McCanns were in no position to advance an explanation. They were out of sight and sound of the apartment, eating and drinking with their friends at the Tapas bar. They had left, at least, the 2 year old twins Home Alone. They claimed all 3 children were asleep in the apartment when they went out for the evening. They claimed that they thought it was safe to leave 3 children under 4 years of age Home Alone.

4. There was no break-in. The McCanns change their story, they admit to leaving the apartment unlocked. Why did they claim that there had been a break-in? It has to be a cover story to conceal an event. Madeleine’s disappearance. The last people to see Madeleine alive were Kate and Gerry McCann. They claim to have answered all questions. This is a lie. They claim to have fully co-operated with the police. This is a lie. Their claim that they thought it was safe is a lie.

5. Justice for Madeleine requires a fair hearing, let us hear the truth, the whole truth, and nothing less than the truth.

6. The case against the McCanns is compelling.

McCanns not paedophiles to blame for Madeleine’s disappearance

August 7, 2008

On the basis of this brief email…

Intelligence suggests that a paedophile ring in Belgium made an order for a young girl three days before Madeleine McCann was taken.

“Somebody connected to this group saw Maddie, took a photograph of her and sent it to Belgium. The purchaser agreed that the girl was suitable and Maddie was taken“.

The Daily Telegraph concludes:

“Only now, is a picture emerging of what may have happened.

It destroys the PJ’s theory that the couple accidentally killed Madeleine and then tried to dispose of her body”.

Since when does such scanty information, more likely misinformation, gain such credibility with a British broadsheet, especially given the unreliability as stated below?

“The Met Police were tipped by an anonymous source, the files showed”.

UPDATE: CNN has picked up this story here and refers to this blog for other related content.

In my view, it would assist in the cracking of this case if the McCanns were asked the question “Why did you lie about the apartment having been the subject of a break in?”

McCanns to get away with homicide

July 21, 2008

It is a huge disappointment to learn that Gerry and Kate McCann have had their arguido status lifted. This is not the same as clearing them of killing Madeleine and then disposing of her body. All it means is that the PJ were unable to pin down the McCanns with sufficient evidence to satisfy a court in Portugal of their guilt.

The BBC is reporting that their were failings in the case, for example, the “local police were criticised for failing immediately to seal off the apartment from which the three-year-old disappeared on the night of 3 May“. However, it should not be forgotten that before the police arrived about 50 people had traipsed in and out of the flat, which the McCanns did in order to contaminate the crime scene.

The BBC also states they should be criticised for not alerting the border force to a possible abduction. However, the BBC conveniently forgets that this case was never about a child abduction. It is about two doctors who killed and then disposed of Madeleine. The abduction story was a McCann invention to try and cover up their crimes. It should be remembered that the McCanns staged a fake break in which the police were quick to establish was an inside job and had nothing whatsoever to do with any alleged abductor.

The BBC also criticises the PJ for making the McCanns arguidos last September. However, I too would criticise the PJ. Not for declaring them arguidos at all, but for not doing so at the very start of the investigation. They allowed the McCanns too much liberty to get the media and politicians and big money interests to support them, thereby denying Madeleine the justice she so richly deserves.

UPDATE: Attorney-General’s statement:

By the dispatch of today’s date (21.07.2008 ) issued by the two magistrates of the Public Ministry competent in the case, it was decided that the inquiry relating to the disappearance of the minor Madeleine McCann will be archived due to insufficient proof of any crime having been perpetrated by the arguidos.

The status of arguido of Robert James Queriol Evelegh Murat, Gerald Patrick McCann and Kate Marie Healy hereby ceases, along with all associated restrictions applicable thereto.

Persons having a legitimate cause may lodge an appeal, request that an instruction be opened or request the re-opening of the inquiry.

The inquiry may be re-opened on the initiative of the Public Ministry or at the request of an interested party if new elements of proof emerge that will give rise to serious, pertinent and consequential investigatory activities.

After the legally prescribed time period, the case file may be consulted by any person who can show a legitimate interest in it, provided the prescribed legal formalities are observed.

They have enough evidence of child neglect.

They have enough evidence that there was no break in.

They have enough evidence that the McCanns lied about the break in.

They have enough evidence of a cover up.

They have enough evidence that Jane Tanner lied about seeing an abductor.

They have enough evidence that Gerry’s claim that the abductor was in the apartment at the same time as Gerry is false.

They have enough evidence that an innocent couple would not have gone to these lengths.

The case should have been taken to court. It must be remembered that the McCanns refused to answer 40 questions put by the PJ.

McCanns: Gospel according to John

June 10, 2008

1. Only irresponsible parents would try to claim that it was safe to leave 3 children under 4 years of age unsupervised whilst the parents went out drinking with their friends.

2. Only parents with a secret to cover up would claim that there had been a break-in, when the truth is that there was no break-in.

3. Only parents who knew that Madeleine was not out there, would stay in whilst others were outside searching for her and leaving no stone unturned.

4. Only parents who knew what happened to Madeleine would complain that the police were not doing anything, when in fact the police and PJ were conducting an investigation into a missing child report, and conducted a search of the immediate area. It follows that the parents sought the police to follow a false trail. They may have found this frustrating, but the parents would have been under suspicion from the start of the investigation until they could be eliminated. They haven’t been.

5. The police investigation was effectively hampered when Clarence Mitchell tipped off the McCanns that they were being monitored by the PJ.

6. Metodo3 is being paid £50,000 per month to lay false trails away from the McCanns door.

7. The McCanns are innocent of all charges until it is proved that they are guilty.

8. The majority of the public believe that the McCanns are guilty of something, even if it is just child neglect.

9. Madeleine is missing.

10. The neglect is a red herring to bury the fact that the McCanns know exactly what happened to Madeleine. When Gerry McCann was aghast at the irony of the same sentence for neglect as manslaughter, he could not contain himself. But once the ball was rolling the McCanns decided to roll with it. It can only roll downhill. It follows that they are not on high moral ground.
